Collins Harrell, DMD
Dr. Collins Harrell was born in Provo, Utah and moved with his family to San Diego, California when he was twelve years old. He graduated from Point Loma High School and attended UCSD before serving as a missionary for two years in Argentina. He then completed his preparation for dental school at the University of Utah. Dr. Harrell graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry with Honors in June of 2000 and continues his education with an emphasis on cosmetics, full mouth reconstruction, and orthodontics.
His wife, Ann-Marie, and their four boys are thrilled to live in San Clemente. Dr. Harrell is an avid surfer and loves surfing Trestles early before going to the office. He is excited that his boys are water lovers and are all learning to surf and love the ocean. As a family they are active in their church, community, sports and school activities.
Craig Atchison, DDS
Dr. Craig Atchison was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri before recently relocating to Southern California. He attended the University of Missouri - Columbia for his undergraduate degree and received his DDS degree at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. While proud of his Midwestern roots, Dr. Atchison is very happy to now be on the sunny, beautiful West Coast. In his free time, he enjoys spending time around Dana Point Harbor, jogging on Salt Creek Beach, playing guitar, and attempting to stay upright on a surf board. He also still tries to catch a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game whenever possible. Dr. Atchison prides himself on making patients feel comfortable and at-ease in the dental chair while providing state-of-the-art care. He is very enthousiastic and excited to be part of the wonderful team at San Clemente Smiles.
